Hollywood is full of aspiring artists and musicians. Just stroll down Sunset Blvd on a Friday night and pay attention to the sounds coming out of the Roxy, the Viper Room and the likes. Thanx to the internet we can check out these bands here in Europe, too. Let me introduce you to a project that’s been playing on my phone a lot lately: Bryce Soderberg & The 2nd Wheel.
Musicians Neal Tiemann, Tony Oliveira (keys, guitar), Pelle Hillstrom (guitar), Jesper Kristensen (drums) and last not least lead vocalist Bryce Soderberg are normally working with bands like London Cries, Abandoned Pools or Lifehouse. For this side project the guys join forces and rock venues in Hollywood and Vegas. Experimenting with different styles 2nd Wheel create an eclectic mixture of Pop, Indie and Electro-Pop. An absolute favourite is „Igniter“ that makes you dance immediately and gets stuck in your head:
